Hello everyone,
I'm often asked how I knew people were watching my videos, and what my favorite videos are. When my first five videos were being discussed on SomethingAwful.com, my hits went through the roof, as well as my comments. To my surprise, they were all positive. So, when I realized that many people were watching, I continued.
I don't really have a favorite video; I can't judge my own work, I feel weird doing that. I can tell you the one I had the most fun with was probably my "Ocean's Eleven" re-enactment. I was sick with the flu, staying home from a film class that night. I was thinking about what my next re-enactment would be. When I thought of that scene from "Ocean's Eleven," I got so excited, and did the thing in like three hours. Even though I was sick, I was just so pumped up to do it.
Not a lot of preparation goes into the re-enactments. Unless I want to buy some clothes from the Goodwill for a character, I just do them right away. That sort of goes for my other videos; I do them on the spot, all at once. I've been trying to train myself to put more time into pre-meditating these ideas; I have a feeling they would seem a lot more polished if I did that.
